If you make payment delay then it will hurt your credit score as a result. However your credit score will not be affected in these things below:

Overdrafting Bank

If you have sever overdraft transactions with your bank account it will be expensive. However if you settle them before they go to collections your credit score will not be hurt at all. In order to prevent your credit score from being hurt you should not keep your account remains overdrafed till the bank sends it to a collection agency.

Your salary

You salary will not be listed on your credit report though the information about your employer will be. You credit score will not be affected by whether your income is high or low. The thing that is included in your credit score is how you pay your bills, to which your salary might affect. But it does not mean that with high income you will have your credit score boosted or down because of low salary.

Paying Insurance

Whether to insure you and to calculate your insurance premium is the decision made by insurance company, which is influenced by your credit score. However an insurance payment does not influence your credit score. The insurance companies do not report your timely or untimely payments to the credit bureaus even though they can use your credit score to decide.
